A Note on Returns, Sustainability & Responsible Ordering
As a small business, we strive to provide high-quality organic cotton clothing at fair prices, and we are grateful for every order. We also offer free shipping on orders over $100 and free returns for up to 30 days to make shopping with us more accessible. However, unlike large corporations, we are unable to cover the high costs associated with excessive returns. More importantly, returns have an environmental impact, from additional shipping emissions to the resources used in processing and restocking.
To help minimize waste and unnecessary costs, we kindly ask our customers to be mindful when placing their orders:
- If you are unsure about your size, we encourage you to check our size guide or reach out—we are happy to assist in finding the best fit before you order. You can email us at support@justwearcotton.com, and we will respond within 24 hours to help with sizing.
- We kindly request that customers order only what they intend to keep, as excessive returns contribute to unnecessary shipping emissions and handling costs that are difficult for a growing business like ours to absorb.
We understand that sometimes returns are necessary, and we are always here to help! Our goal is to ensure every customer is happy with their purchase while also making choices that are better for the environment.
To be eligible for a return, we kindly ask that the item be in its original condition—unworn, unused, and in its original packaging
Important Return Conditions
- Returned items must be in the same condition as they were received.
- Items must not have been worn, washed, or altered in any way.
- Returns must not contain any stains, odors, pet hair, or signs of wear.
- We cannot accept returns of used clothing under any circumstances.
Returns that do not meet these conditions may be rejected
Restocking Fee for Large Orders
For orders over $200, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount. As a small business, fulfilling and shipping out larger orders comes with higher costs, and in order to sustain our operations, we have to implement this condition.
Exchanges for larger orders are still eligible, if you’d like to swap for a different size, we’ll be happy to assist you with an exchange instead of a return.
How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at support@justwearcotton.com with the following information:
- Your order number or a copy of the receipt
- Your full name
- Your billing address
Once your return is accepted, we’ll promptly send you a return shipping label along with detailed instructions on how and where to send your package. Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return may not be accepted.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. This way, we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Please note that we do not accept returns on final sale items or gift cards. We appreciate your understanding.
For all other eligible returns, items must be sent back within 30 days from the date the return label is issued and our return instructions are shared. Returns initiated or shipped after this period will not be accepted.
Exchanges
We offer two options for exchanges:
- The quickest way to get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.
- Alternatively, email support@justwearcotton.com with the following information:
- Your full name
- Order number or a copy of the receipt
- Your billing/shipping address
- The product name, size, and color of the item you want to replace
- The product name, size, and color of the item you want to exchange it for
We will then initiate the exchange for you.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know whether the refund has been approved. Upon approval, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, please contact us at support@justwearcotton.com, and we’ll be happy to assist you further.
